Charlotte Knight's Spring Beauty Routine

Charlotte Knight's Spring Beauty Routine

After soaking up a glass of ever so slightly chilled water for a full body hydration blast, I start the day by cleansing my face with ‘The Inkey List Cleansing Balm’ to freshen up and remove impurities from my skin. I apply ‘Youth to the People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream’ across my neck and face and a dab a little ‘QMS Eye Cream’ under my eyes softly patting to encourage blood flow. Often, I shall give my skin a chance to soak in all these wonders by hitting the kitchen to whip up a morning smoothie before applying my base.

Spring is all about clean, fresh, dewy skin. For an extra shot of hydration I start with the ‘Watermelon Burst Primer’ to keep my base in place throughout the day whilst providing my skin with delicious actives; witch hazel extract, niacinamide, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid.

The ‘Extraordinary Foundation’ can be worn all ways from sheer to full coverage so using a beauty blender, I pat on a thin layer to even out my skin tone and cover up any blemishes. I love how the formula blurs my pores, has a dewiness to it and stays in place all day. I often build upon the base if I am heading out for an event in the evening to take it from a sheer to fuller coverage – it is so versatile!

Then onto my favourite new release ‘Dewy Blush’. I love how this deliciously scented next-gen cheek tint packed with yuzu and dragonfruit creates a dewiness that could never be achieved with powder blush. I simply apply three small dots onto the apples of my cheeks and blend upwards into the skin to create a wash of juicy colour.

Mascara and lip oil are definitely my desert island must haves! My lashes are loving the ‘Ciate Triple Shot XXL Mascara’ as it coats from root to tip for extreme length and volume and lasts all day without any drying, crumbling or flaking – no panda eyes here! I am thankful my brows are microbladed so are zero maintenance - a little comb through upwards each morning with a teeny dab of ‘Vaseline’ keeps them at bay all day. My spring look is completed with lashings of deliciously hydrating lip oil which I re-apply throughout the day. My current favourite is the ‘Ciate Watermelon Hydrating Lip Oil’, it’s the perfect lip gloss oil hybrid. The watermelon flavour is so moreish and the formula is incredibly comfortable on your lips with zero stickiness.
