As a creative beauty brand, we’re always looking for new ways to colour and treat our nails. We’ve pushed the boundaries for over a decade – bringing you Cheat Sheets and Sun Switch in the past year alone.
This month, we’re excited to introduce Plant Pots: our up to 80% natural, long-wear polishes. Enriched with our exclusive nail care complex – and with an average wear time of six days – the new formulas promise to make your manicure look and feel ultra-fresh for longer.
How do Plant Pots work?
Plant Pots are created with up to 80% natural origin ingredients and infused with nourishing bamboo for long-lasting, ultra-glossy results. Each polish is formulated with biotin and bakuchiol extracts too, which help to strengthen and rejuvenate the nails during wear.
How many Plant Pots are there?
As well as colour Plant Pots, there’s a top coat, base coat and nail treatment. Here’s a closer look at the six core shades:
A must for your nail wardrobe, this pale creamy pink polish is perfect for all four seasons. We’ll be wearing ours on both our fingers and toes.
2. Iced Frappe
Minimal and elegant with a high shine finish, our luxurious mauve nude colour promises to elevate every skin tone. It’s great for days when you desire a fresh, natural look.
Our strikingly beautiful deep Bordeaux paint is one of our best red nail polishes yet. We’ll be wearing it everywhere, all year round.
4. Good As Gold
This golden champagne glitter will set your nails apart. Sugared with subtle sparkle, the wear-everywhere colour complements all skin tones.
5. Snatch

6. Sweet Blush
Our new pink nude shade is perfectly understated and chic. Work, weekends, weddings – the dreamy polish will elevate your nails for every occasion.
How are Plant Pots sustainable?
Every Plant Pot polish is made with sustainably sourced ingredients – Good As Gold contains only biodegradable glitters – and the bottles are made from 10% recycled glass. Plus, we’ve made sure the packaging, polish bottles and caps are all fully recyclable, so you don’t feel as bad when you finally have to say goodbye to your Plant Pot.
How do I apply Plant Pots?
Every polish is designed with our signature rounded edge brush for easy, smooth application. Here’s how to apply Plant Pots in four simple steps:
1. Start with Plant Pot Prime + Protect Base Coat
After filing and buffing your nails to remove any bumps and ridges, paint each nail with our new Base Coat. The fast drying, colour-gripping polish includes all the benefits of Plant Pots and smooths and blurs flaws for even colour application. Plus, it helps prevent staining and yellowing of the nail’s surface.
2. Apply your favourite Plant Pot colour.
When it comes to applying Plant Pots perfectly, you only need three strokes of the brush to cover your nail. Start near the cuticle in the middle of the nail plate with your first stroke and paint to the free edge. Follow it with two strokes, from cuticle to the left free edge and then to the right, making sure not to overload the brush.
3. Paint over with Plant Pot Speed Coat.
If you want your manicure to last longer, our new Speed Coat is a must. Formulated with all the benefits of Plant Pots, the polish extends wear with a chip resistant protective shield. Locking in gloss and shine for up to 8 days, it’s key to creating salon-level nails.
4. Remember to use Plant Pot Strengthen + Repair Base Coat and Treatment.
Caring for your nails doesn’t need to be a chore: our Strengthen + Repair Base Coat and Treatment is an easy way to show them some TLC. Designed to restore, nourish and strengthen the nail, the polish is made with Vitamin E for added protection. Use twice a week for an intense hardening treatment or apply as a repairing base coat.
“Plant Pots harness some of nature’s most powerful ingredients to both colour and treat the nail as you wear. Taking the nail game to the next level, we’re bringing some of the most exciting natural extracts in the industry to this new and unexpected format. It looks and feels seriously good,” Charlotte Knight, Founder and CEO, Ciaté London.
