Introducing our new I Am Woman Eyeshadow Palette

We’re a female-founded brand and a celebration of women’s creativity and individuality. At Ciaté London, we proudly use our platform to elevate the voices of women across the world – from our ambassadors to our customers and our 84% female workforce.

In honour of International Women’s Day 2021 and this year’s theme #ChoosetoChallenge, we’re introducing our new 24-shade eyeshadow palette I Am Woman – inspired by forward-thinking, powerful women who have fearlessly shaped the world.

I Am Woman champions female figures throughout history who have challenged the norm and achieved the unexpected – from activism and invention to science and the arts. Through passion, dedication, resilience and grit, each woman helped make the world a better place.

Filled with shades for every complexion, our I Am Woman palette features soft and subtle nudes, shimmering neutrals, buttery mattes and intense metallics. Each eyeshadow is created with our signature creamy formulation and a powerful, pigment-rich finish.

Take a look at five of the incredible women who inspired our I Am Woman palette:

1. Marsha P Johnson

Marsha P Johnson was an African American transgender woman, an LGBTQ rights activist and an outspoken advocate for trans people of colour. A self-identified drag queen, Marsha was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969.

2. Ella Fitzgerald

The first African American woman to win a Grammy award, Ella Fitzgerald became world famous for the wide range and rare sweetness of her voice. Referred to as the First Lady of Song, she was regarded an international legend during a career that spanned some six decades.

3. Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an American lawyer and jurist who served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1993 to 2020. The second woman ever to serve on the Supreme Court, she was a leading voice for gender equality, women's interests, and civil rights and liberties.

4. Cleopatra

The last pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, Cleopatra was an Egyptian Queen who actively influenced Roman politics at a crucial time. One of the most famous female rulers in history, her life inspired a Shakespeare play and several movies.

5. You

You’re powerful and capable, caring and courageous. You inspire our team every day and drive every product we create. You’re bright, brave, beautiful and passionate – and your abilities are endless. You continue to prove that girls really do run the world.

“Whilst, in so many ways, we’re in a time of global progression; so many women still face bias and hardships that our male counterparts don’t. From period poverty to the gender pay gap – there is still so much work to do to bring total equality to our world,” Ciaté London CEO and Founder Charlotte Knight.

“I wanted to honour International Women’s Day by recognising extraordinary women throughout history who have inspired and propelled me and my team. Our I Am Woman eyeshadow palette celebrates fearless females in all their forms. We are proud, we are powerful, and we are women.”
